Peer Review Process
The peer-review process of Journal ANC ensures the quality and integrity of all published manuscripts. The process is as follows:
1. Submission and Initial Screening
- Manuscripts submitted to the journal are initially reviewed by the editorial team to ensure they meet the journal’s focus, scope, and formatting guidelines.
- Submissions are checked for plagiarism using appropriate software. Manuscripts with significant overlap with other works may be rejected immediately.
2. Assignment of Reviewers
- Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to two or more qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
- The journal adopts a double-blind review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
3. Review Process
- Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, clarity, methodology, significance of findings, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommend one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revisions
- Minor revisions
- Major revisions
- Reject
4. Editorial Decision
- The editorial team reviews the feedback provided by the reviewers and makes the final decision on the manuscript.
- Authors are notified of the decision and provided with reviewers' comments for necessary revisions.
5. Revision and Resubmission
- Authors are required to address reviewers’ comments and submit the revised manuscript within the given timeframe.
- Revised submissions may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation, depending on the extent of changes.
6. Final Decision and Publication
- Once the manuscript meets the journal’s standards, it is approved for publication.
- The final version undergoes copyediting, layout editing, and proofing before being published online.
