Archiving Policy
To ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content, Journal ANC employs a robust archiving policy through the following measures:
-
Digital Archiving
All published articles are stored and preserved in multiple trusted digital repositories to safeguard against data loss. -
Institutional Repository
The journal encourages authors to deposit their published articles in institutional or subject-based repositories immediately after publication. -
LOCKSS and CLOCKSS
Journal ANC utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. -
Publisher Backup
The journal maintains regular backups of all published content on its secure servers.
By implementing these measures, Journal ANC ensures that all articles remain accessible and retrievable for future generations, even in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
